• Typical summer lawn height is between 2.5 and 3 inches. This offers protection from the heat of the sun without letting the blades get too tall. After mowing, return the clippings to the yard for extra nutrients.
• Irrigation is another important factor in summer lawn care. Watering requirements change from season to season. If you rely on an automatic irrigation system or other landscape product, be sure to adjust your settings to a more frequent level.
