Common Name: Dollarweed (Pennywort)

Scientific Name: Hydrocotyle spp.

Description:

Upright perennial broadleaf weed with round leaves that are scalloped along the edges. Petiole attaches in the center of the leaf to form an “umbrella like” appearance. Prefers moist conditions and forms mats in areas of high population. Reproduces through seed, underground runners, and tubers.
